A logistics client needed six desks, a meeting room and a kitchenette on a yard with no room to build and no appetite for a permanent structure. Two forty-foot containers, joined along their length, turned out to be the right answer.
The units are insulated, plumbed and wired to the same standard as a brick build, and were fitted out off site while the slab was being poured. Installation took a single day.
The whole assembly can be lifted and moved if the lease changes, which is the part the client valued most and the part conventional construction cannot offer at all.
